Urban Water Strategy

Our strategy for identifying the best mix of measures to provide water services in our towns and cities now and into the future.

Our 2022 Urban Water Strategy (UWS) was developed in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Minister for Water. It addresses key actions identified in Water for Victoria – the Victorian Government’s strategic plan for managing our water resources.

The guidelines state that the purpose of the UWS is to identify the best mix of measures to provide water services in our towns and cities now and into the future.
