Our region is home to some remarkable natural water bodies. Below you’ll find information about some of these waterways within our service region.
Lake Cullulleraine
Located 60 kilometres west of Mildura on the Sturt highway, Lake Cullulleraine is a freshwater lake that features two caravan parks, a walking trail, tennis courts, football grounds and is host a wide range of water activities, including skiing and sailing.

Lake Hawthorn
Located just outside Mildura in Cabarita, visitors to Lake Hawthorn can make use of the walking and biking tracks and see local wildlife including many bird and reptile species.

Murray River
The mighty Murray River borders Victoria and New South Wales (NSW), stretching for over 2,500 kilometers. Managed by NSW, the Murray River is an important part of the local ecosystem – being home to wildlife, supplying farms and irrigation, and being host to water sports such as waterskiing, wakeboarding and boat racing.

Lake Boga
Just a 15-minute drive south of Swan Hill, Lake Boga is home to a number of local wildlife, swimming and fishing spots, active walking and biking trails, and is a great spot for waterskiing, kayaking and other water activities.

King’s Billabong
A short drive outside Mildura in Nichols Point, Kings Billabong is host to a number of recreational activities such as bushwalking, cycling, picnicking, camping, fishing, bird watching, canoeing, dog walking and horse riding.
